Red Watch Band
Students can become trained to facilitate the Red Watch Band Bystander Intervention Training (RWB) and help educate their peers about how to identify and intervene effectively in an alcohol-related emergency. Students who attend the full-day training will gain the knowledge and skills to offer RWB to other ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students and student groups. Student facilitators will receive continued support from Health Promotion and Wellness staff following this training, including regular meetings to discuss opportunities and challenges, as well as support with program scheduling and delivery.
Facilitator training typically occurs during Winter Quarter. If you are interested in becoming a Red Watch Band student facilitator, registration information will be shared in the PawPrint leading up to this time. Questions can be directed to HPaW at hpaw@northwestern.edu.
